During a hot evening in Folsom, a couple was going to let their dog out through a sliding door to take care of business in their backyard. As they slid the sliding door open, they heard what they initially thought was water spraying just outside the door. Upon further inspection, they realized it was this rattlesnake they spooked enough to rattle at them as a warning — not water running. They stopped their dog from darting out the door and called us to catch this backyard visitor, and inside of the hour their backyard liberated from this rattlesnake visitor.
